I've been a stylist for over 20 years and specialize in hair color. What I love about this career is that there are endless opportunities to learn new ideas and techniques, and about people. I started as a stylist in Eugene, Oregon, and opened my first salon in Portland. I moved to San Diego in 1997. My core clientele are mostly business professionals still desiring to be current with just a little edge.

My training is extensive and varied and includes study with Redkin, Matrix, L'oreal, Sassoon, and Toni & Guy to name a few. I am a member of the International Color Exchange and stay current in hair coloring and styling techniques by attending continuing industry education.

I've recently become co-owner of PLUSH Salon on Fifth Avenue in the Banker's Hill area near downtown San Diego. Now I can work in an environment that matches my personal philosophy: A salon should cater to its CLIENTS, not the salon owner or stylist. I've always believed clients prefer a small, intimate environment — not large, commercial hair factories.

It is my goal to give you the beautiful hair color you want - whether to impact shine, cover gray, or to add stunning highlights.
